World War 2 - Research

World War 2 was a tragic period of time that started in 1939 and ended in 1945. It all began with Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler was born in Austria and earlier on in his lif his family moved to Germany. He was involved in world war 1. Over the years he managed to get involved with the German political parties and was voted to be Chancellor of Germany.

Over time the Nazi party was introduced and formed by Hitler. Over this period of time, Hitler became a Dictator, making his own laws. Due to this, he formed Concentration Camps in which horrific events took place. The Jewish community were rounded up and sent to these camps. Over the course of their times at these camps, they were forced to live in horrific conditions. There would be around 3/4 people per bed (these were bunk beds so about 6 - 8 people per bunk). Some people would die from diseases and illness due to these living conditions. Other Jewish people were forced to burn bodies of their loved ones and other Jews. Other Jews were escorted by the Nazis and they would round up a hut of Jews and send them to a gas chamber. Hitler used propaganda in order to attract Jews to these camps.
