In todays lesson, we were given split into groups of two and were given the task of giving a motiavational speech of some sort to persuade someone (mostly a young man) in the first world war to go over the trench and fight fo the country. In this scene I was working with Kai and together we decided that he would ply the scared young man and I'd play the officer or person who tries to get him over. For the speech I googled "motivational speeches" and found a speech that says:
"There are these two young fish swimming along and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says “Morning, boys. How’s the water?” And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes “What the hell is water?”

I thought that this speech was a really good piece to use as it's saying you don't really notice things around you and it may be clear unitl someone points it out. So using this speech I added in things such as "You see that young man over there, he's bringing shame on himself, he's not even fucking moving for christ sake."
"What would your dad say if he could see you rigt now being a little pansy boy and not being the man that he wanted to raise".
