In today's lesson we were split into different groups and were trying out different ideas that we may have using a picture as our stimulus (which is a photo of a tunnel at Fort Amherst). The group I was in decided to instantly go with something rather dark due to the creepy look that the tunnels had and also because it seemed like there was hardly an light that could come in. We went with ideas and slowly got to the conclusion of a mental hospital/institution and the patients were somehow drawn to the tunnels. We then started to think of a small piece that we could show the other groups and came up with this idea that there would be a promenade and that the audience would look at the patience and study them. My character would be laying down on the floor whilst other people were sitting down on a chair and then also we would have Freya walking around and talking to our audience. Whilst Freya isn't looking, we would slowly begin to move and then would sit back down. With my character I would move but sick back down on a chair instead of sitting back down on the floor. Freya will then come back and accuse the audience of moving me around. Ellie will then come along and replace Freya as a doctor. The purpose of the replacement is so that no one feels safe and that no one is sure as to who is running the place.
