Here are some photos that we used as a stimuli for some of our ideas. They are all located at Fort Amhurst. The purpose of having all of these is so that we wouldn't focus all of our ideas on the tunnels.

Group Discussion and Ideas 2
In yesterday's lesson we had a very discussion based session. We were all talking about are ideas and what we had thought about when we actually went around and viewed the location and quite a few of us liked the whole idea of this mental institution idea. However we did have the risk of it being like a maze which is something that we are not looking to do as we are actually looking to perform this instead of doing in that kind of style, so we discussed about how we could potentially perform this and there is a solution. We are going to have a 60s style to the piece so is not modern and we can pull off a little bit more with having it in the past. We are also talking about how we could do it so we don't actually acknowledge the audience at all so even though the audience of the following assuming the start of the promenade they're going to do is if they're in this little bubble outside of the reality that's going on in front of them which could be really interesting and I am opinion.
Earlier on in the lesson we did have this whole barrier own having a really strong idea but not been able to have a story to it or having this futuristic piece that way for briefly and the thing is with that idea we then have a rather weak idea but but but a storyline to it so we had to discuss it a little bit and visit we had come to the conclusion that we were going to continue with this mental institution idea. And just before we all started to pack up and leave that for the lesson we were all discussing what kind of characters that we might want to have in our piece so I am going to look into what diseases or mental illnesses were really common back in the 60s but also I'm going to research what kind of behaviour some people would have if they were criminally insane.

Tunnels - Fort Amhurst
In today's lesson we actually went and visited the location we are using, Fort Amherst which is located in Chatham area and has a lot of history to it and it was used as a place where soldiers would go if they were injured and it was also next to the dockyard which was used for impoting and exporting goods aswell as storing navy boats and ships. The part of the Fort that we went and had a look at was the tunnels and we thought that it was a very good location and it was very big, it was a bit tight through the corridors and another places but when we found a room or when we got to the a dead-end there was a lot of space for us to use which was quite handy for us so it means that we can try to use it to our advantages. When walking around the Fort I felt quite creeped out purely on the basis that it was very dark and very cold and the place is supposed to be haunted which I feel we can maybe scare the audience if we choose to go down the route in which we want to do something a bit scary. I asked the tour guide whether he had experienced anything paranormal and he said that he had been pushed down the stairs and was laughed at by someone that he couldn't actually see which I thought was quite interesting and I feel as if we can maybe tie in someway something related to this so we can really push boundaries is to actually scare ourselves as well as the audience. The location itself was absolutely lovely to visit earthing the lighting inside of the times as well we could really use that to our advantage and we can actually create something rather sinister.
Once we had a look around the location myself and other class mates were discussing about what ideas we had gathered from viewing the tunnels and a small group of us had came up with this idea that maybe instead of doing something futuristic we could actually go back to this whole mental institution kind of idea with but we have to try and think of a storyline to go with it but also to think of a way that we can use the space appropriately and also a effectivly.

Group discussion - audience and location
In today's lesson we had a discussion based on what I do we actually want to go through with and also how we are going to have our audience moving around in promenade. We eventually came to the conclusion of the fact that we would be acting out an idea that we had which is very futuristic and also there is a dystopian the issue though we faced with having this idea is the fact that it might be quite hard to perform in the location that we've decided to perform which is at Fort Amhurst which based in Chatham. Some people in the group thought that it would be a really good idea and others were not so sure or kean on the idea due to the fact that some of us have tried to attempt to perform something rather similar to the futuristic piece before and felt as if it wasn't the best we could have done. There was also discussion based on moving the audience into two separate groups which I thought was a good idea about the same time I think they could've been a lot of disadvantages to doing that idea on the fact that the audience could be missing out on certain key parts and also we could end up possibly losing some of them if we split it into two separate groups. I personally think that we should keep the audience into one group just so that we can keep everyone together make sure no one ends up wandering away and also I don't think that the idea would really match the location that we are potentially looking at. I feel as if we should do something slightly different based on the fact that the location you are using is rather historic and has a lot of history to it and I feel if we do a futuristic/dystopian kind of performance then it might not feel right we might not come up with something as powerful.
Idea 3 - army
In this lesson we were given another picture to influence us with some further ideas just so we have a wider variety of these ideas that we can hopefully choose on and pick. The group I was in was with Kai, Theo and Freya. At first when looking at the picture it looks like a plane brick wall and it had is little archway thing and personally I felt as if it was like some sort of execution wall or something and I got this kind of image in my head or Japanese people who were involved with the Second World War, would torture the Americans, British or they would torture prisoners of war and so in my head I had these ideas about making audience experience this is first hand. We took a little while to start making something due to us being a bit slow but after a while when we had to actually think of an idea or think of something, we all decided to just go with this idea. The good thing about this idea was the fact it had this on the kind of similar background to the fort with it being that military related. We then performed a piece to the other group and it was in A promenade.
We made audience lineup like they were actually in the army itself and my character would always end up asking questions. It was very similar to like World War II when people didn't have much of a choice to say no. It was a very much frowned upon thing if someone didn't give their life to save the country they were very cowardly and would receive a feather. So anyway my character would then ask questions and because He had asked too many questions he was then dragged out and beaten up quite severely to the point when he was conscious he wouldn't actually answer back and at times it can be seen as a comical at the same time as this, we wanted to show the reality of it being quite a serious matter.

Sight Specific
We have started to think and brainstorm about possible locations we can perform at. The group that I was in came up with a variety of different places.
We thought of multiple locations, anything we thought of went down on paper. Some of the locations written down are:
- Casinos night club
- a beach
- a shopping centre (blue water)
- a pub
- a farm
- a forest
- a graveyard
- a boat
- a prison
- a dockyard
- a zoo
- any abandoned places

Single - Idea lesson 2
In this lesson we were given the task of coming up with another idea. We were split off into groups again as we were like before at and we were given a picture as part of a stimulus for motivational purpose to see if we can come up with anything different from what we had previously thought of. In my group was Theo, Tom and Ashley and at first we were struggling to think of something to come up with and we started talking about what we though of when we looked at this picture and an idea that popped into my mind was a war related topic and in my head I could imagine these two soldiers siting by the wall talking about war. They're probably injured in the middle of some sort of battle and the more we discussed this, the more we ended up talking about a rebellious kind of idea and it ended up becoming a futuristic idea which wias based on a prisoner of war type of piece and we thought that it would be an interesting approach if we was to show some sort of torture or how some people might be treated in these prisons. We also had a political approach to this as well so it wasn't just the prisoners being tortured and we were discussing about Donald Trump being in power. And it raised the question of "what if we had our economy or society in which it wasn't real it will it was completely different to how we live at the moment?"
We tried to think of something to actually perform to the other groups but we couldn't really think of much due to the fact the we'd actually discussed a lot of ideas so we came up with this whole little piece of a prison getting chucked into the cell with two other people. One of them is silent and the other one has gone a bit loopy and has lost his mind a bit and then they ask this new prisoner as to why he was there and he explains howthe political system has completely changed and gone for the worse and how it's chaotic.
